Neil Lee Griffin has a lifelong passion for writing and performing music and Jessica Griffin grew up singing constantly. In 2016 they joined to become Antler Hill Arts - specializing in many various artistic talents including graphic design, portraiture, movie scoring, crafts, and of course, live music. Their full-orchestral sound has been compared to the works of Danny Elfman and tends to defy definition; we like to call it "rustic rock."

They use the image of a Scarecrow to raise awareness of stuttering: while it cannot walk or talk, its steady, planted presence is its own form of wisdom. They use this idea to introduce the fact that those who stutter or are silent have the same intelligence and emotions as those who do not. In other words, "stutter is not stupid."
